Jesus Falls the Third Time
Reading – Luke 22: 34
Jesus answered, ‘I tell you, Peter, before the cock crows today, you will deny three times that you know me.’
Reflection
Weakened almost to the point of death, Jesus falls a third time. God has revealed himself as three in one and one in three. Our God is one who shares our humanity. Once in a concentration camp an inmate challenged a priest as to where his God was. He pointed to a man shot dead, tangled in barbed wire. Our God suffers with us – pray for those who feel God is absent in their sufferings
