Simon of Cyrene Helps Jesus Carry the Cross
Reading – Mark 15: 21
They compelled a passer-by, who was coming in from the country, to carry his cross; it was Simon of Cyrene, the father of Alexander and Rufus.
Reflection
Soldiers force Simon of Cyrene to carry the cross. Simon was a reluctant companion of Christ, yet through this encounter many in Cyrene came to know about Jesus. Thank God for this opportunity to learn how deep Jesus love was for you upon the cross. Pray that you and those who you love might come to know Jesus.

Because by your Holy Cross you have redeemed the world.
