Jesus Is Nailed to the Cross
Reading – Isaiah 53: 23-25
But he was pierced for our transgressions,
he was crushed for our iniquities;
the punishment that brought us peace was on him,
and by his wounds we are healed.
Reflection
Jesus’ hands and feet are nailed to the cross. A tree will carry him who carries heaven and earth. What sin have you committed that nailed him to the cross? Know that he endured this to set you free of it, that you might stand tall, as he is lifted high.
Prayer:
We adore you O Christ and we bless you,
Because by your Holy Cross you have redeemed the world.
