Jesus Falls the First Time
Reading – Psalm 37: 16-17
Better is a little that the righteous person has than the abundance of many wicked.
For the arms of the wicked shall be broken, but the Lord upholds the righteous.
Reflection
Weakened by torments and by loss of blood, Jesus falls beneath his cross. It is a heavy load he carries, our wrong doings, the good we could have done but refused; the weight is so heavy it pushes him into the ground. Pray for those who feel so low mentally that they feel in the dirt.
Prayer:
We adore you O Christ and we bless you,
Because by your Holy Cross you have redeemed the world.
