Saturday 30th November and

Sunday 1st December

Festival open 11am to 4pm each day

We are very excited to be be holding our Christmas Tree Festival, in St Peter & St Paul Church, Olney over Dickens Weekend. Last year our Festival was a great success, with over 70 trees, and 2000+ visitors. We have 80 trees booked in for this year so far!

Refreshments will be available throughout the Festival and visitors can vote for their favourite tree and remember a loved one on our Memory Tree. Friends of the Library in Olney (FOLIO) will be telling stories daily.

On Friday 29th November there are opportunities for school and pre-school visits before we open to the public.

Our Programme is filling up; on Saturday Olney Brass Open Band will play as our Mayor opens the Festival. Local choirs, musical groups and individuals will be performing throughout the day. The Ballet School will dance in the wonderful setting of our Church, filled with sparkling Christmas Trees. From 11.30am local authors will be signing their latest books for a couple of hours.

On Saturday night we are having a very special charity concert given by the Bedford Gallery Quire starting at 7.30pm. Tickets are now available from the Phonebox office and Pancake Parlour in Olney.

On Sunday we will have choirs from Olney Infant Academy, Village Schools Federation, Olney Middle School, Singing for All, Olney Voices and Olney Ukulele Guitar and Singing Club all performing for us and we will finish with some Carol Singing around 4.00pm
