Over 2000 people cast their votes for their favourite tree over the weekend. It was quite close, but the winning tree was Olney Infant Academy. Congratulations to them, and well done to everyone who contributed trees this year!
Festival co-ordinator Susan Heron says “Thank you to everyone who helped with our Christmas Tree Festival this year. We had a fabulous weekend with so many visitors. It is becoming a beloved community event and showcases so many wonderful groups in Olney. The Olney Singing Studio gave us a wonderful concert on the Saturday evening, and we finished the Festival by turning down all the lights and singing carols among the sparkling trees.”
If you want to put the dates for next years Christmas Tree Festival in your diary, they are Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th December 2026. Once again there will be the chance for booked visits from schools / pre-schools / vulnerable groups on Friday 4th December. Please contact us if you would like to take part next year.
