The church has a fine ring of bells which was augmented to 10 in 2009 and installed in a steel frame with all new fittings. The bells are rung every Monday evening for practice, every Sunday for the 10.00am service and at other times for weddings, etc. We have a small core band of regular ringers which is gradually being rebuilt following the impact of Covid and we regularly teach new ringers from 7.00pm before the practice. At practice we normally attract at least 10 ringers as we are supported by ringers from other local towers and from the members of the North Bucks branch of the Oxford Diocesan Guild. Olney has the only ring of 10 bells in the branch which contains 40 towers with four bells or more, so we regularly hold practices on a Saturday morning to allow other members of the branch the opportunity to ring on 10 bells. The ringers of the band at Olney are keen and dedicated to ensure that bellringing remains central to worship and the life of this church. The joint tower captains, David and Liz, are heavily involved in supporting all sorts of other activities within the church, and David is also the current Chairman of the North Bucks branch of bellringers.
